Andrew Schwartz is a Senior Analyst at Anderson Robbins Research, where he helps political and corporate clients identify, collect, and analyze the data that will help them succeed.
Andrew has experience in technology startups and political campaigns, and enjoys the challenges and opportunities of working in these types of small, fast-paced environments. He understands the importance of conveying reliable, relevant, and sharply-focused research results to leaders in entrepreneurial environments.
Prior to joining the Anderson Robbins team, Andrew worked in a wide variety of marketing and product management roles at Zeo, a Boston-area startup dedicated to helping people improve their sleep through the power of data. Andrew helped the company launch its debut product, the Zeo Personal Sleep Coach, to national acclaim in June 2009. He was responsible for Zeo’s qualitative and quantitative research, conducting focus groups, in-depth interviews, customer surveys, and other market research initiatives.
Andrew took a leave of absence from Zeo to work for the Obama campaign’s successful effort in North Carolina in 2008. He caught the political bug from that experience, and subsequently interned for Linc Chafee’s 2010 gubernatorial campaign in Rhode Island and Bob Massie’s 2011 run for US Senate in Massachusetts. In each experience, he built systems to improve the organization, analysis, and presentation of campaign data – helping campaign staff to make smart strategic decisions based on all available information.
Andrew received a Master’s degree in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, where he focused primarily on international political marketing techniques and analytics. He received a B.A. in International Relations from Brown University.
Andrew is (almost) fluent in Spanish and is particularly fond of traveling to Latin America. When he is in the Boston area, Andrew spends time on an eclectic mix of activities: playing ultimate frisbee, hiking, building coffee tables, volunteering for political campaigns, and writing creative non-fiction.
